Coachella 2022 Trends – Weekend 2
Just when you think outfits from Coachella Weekend 1 were top tier, we were blessed with Coachella Weekend 2. This time round the desert grounds saw block coloured suits, double denim and a prevalent cowboy/cowgirl theme. Featuring Mika, Doja Cat, Peggy Gou, Tyga, Lizzo and Harry Styles, plus some snaps from the crowd.
It would be rude not to start off with Harry Styles and Lizzo’s matching feathered coats. Petition to change the festival name to Harrychella, anyone?
Coachella proves that you can suit up for every occasion. Mika’s block colour blue suit over a sheer tattoo shirt was epic.
Tyga joined Doja Cat onstage with an oversized orange suit, and boy did it stand out! It perfectly matched the pop of orange in Doja’s flame-inspired bodysuit.
While we’re fan-girling over Doja’s style, we definitely saw a comeback in animal print at the festival. One of the many costume changes from Doja’s set was a zebra print co-ord with matching knee-high gaiters.
The fans were already on board.
Double denim is making a strong comeback. Peggy Gou absolutely nailed the look with a denim vest and matching two-tone denim jeans. She tied the look together with black fingerless gloves and black sunglasses.
Anitta’s bedazzled denim booty shorts and matching bralette made an appearance during her set.
Another bedazzled double denim look came from Japanese-British singer Rina Sawayama, this one also embellished with cowgirl fringe.
The queen of fringe Ari Lennox really stole the show in her gold ensemble.
Anything they can do, the fans can do it better ;)
